okay so mooncake was mostly spent on the rooftop we sneaked up last year. its amusing how much we dirtied that place previously but ytd none of the candle wax we left behind last year could be seen. after taking 10 years to light our laterns, we really did attempt to recite poetry during our moonwalk but none of us could remember any poems so it resulted in becky's continuous "yue bing... yue bing... yue bing..." we ended the walk pretty quickly and they burned up their lanterns which is probably more exciting anyway. a round mooncake was then shared amongst all accompanied with minimal vodka (no tea except green tea and nobody likes green tea. sorry nat!) sheila started to make plenty of circles with candles and i joined in shortly followed by the rest and we made cheesy wishes by the circles. wishes for our friends who couldnt make it too. G & N then tried to make rockets with sparklers, was not bad except that they didnt fly. qi was a little high so we gathered in an oval and started talking about old days and screaming at the top of our lungs, songs like give thanks and power of your love at 11pm. we did attract some old people's attention.

overall i had a great time. hopefully nic beryl marcus toi & jo can join us next year. we uh pretty much stuck by the traditions, didnt we? oh whos chang er? im kidding

ya ok not funny. sham has a new cat (that line is supposed to be as random as she is)

Again, when we left the place was a mess. they say "let nature take its course". see ya next year
