Theres only one word to describe thursday night. Phenomenal. SWITCHFOOT WAS PHENOMENAL. They played so many songs, they played 24, this is your life, ammunition, we are one tonight, only hope, on fire, learning to breathe, GONE WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT! They made it special with their dedication to beyonce (haha) the expected ones like stars, oh gravity, awakening (ROCKING), meant to live, dirty second hands, American dream IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO good being there, singing along, listening, clapping, swaying, turning to john going "AHHHH!!! _______(insert song title)!!!" and jumping up and down, mind you with my 5.4 pounds macbookpro in my bag + alot of other nonsense that only started to weigh after the concert. Abit sad that they didnt play burn out bright and the blues but hey! they played dare you to move better than what i imagined it to be during months of anticipation of how that song would sound live upon learning that they were gonna come.
Im secretly glad that they didnt play circles. HAHAHA k la even if they had played it i would have liked it then...
But that song is horrible. Switchfoot rocks!
Hahahaha alot of funny things happened that day i better quickly write down before i forget. We met theo and her sis, i met mindy too. Before the concert nic, sheila, sham and i were trapped in the bus where the conductor refused to overtake this cab that was situated just before the bus stop. The very funky 38 bus driver started to honk for a good 5 minutes, refusing to let us get down the bus first reason being, "you can only get down at the bus stop." Previously he had allowed some man to get down after he whispered something to him and that happens to be to allow him to go down to snap pictures of the taxi driver with his handphone. WEIRD DUDE NUMBER THREE. Nic managed to rush down before the bus driver denied us exit so she went to confront the taxi driver. Some stranger behind us during the concert was being damn annoying and sheila turned and went "DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONT PUSH." in this super (bitchy) teacher voice HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAH THAT WAS DAMN FUNNY LOL AND THIS STUPID ANG MOH'S HAIR KEPT FLYING INTO SHAM'S AND MY FACE. I have to say Nic had a hell of a time because people were trying to test her wrath that day. She went to tap the ang moh on the shoulder and told her to do something about her hair quite nicely but she gave that bloooody bitchy what-you-want-me-to-do face and went, "oh, sauuurrrrie" before turning back to block our view. Nic was so shocked she couldnt react for sometime. I think if she had a pair of scissors then, it wouldnt be just the ang moh's hair that she snips off. SHAM IM SO GLAD YOU EVENTUALLY CAME
Anyway the day started out with me in school doing some work until lynne came in and made a rhetorical comment to herself.
"Don't tell me i forgot to bring my ticket." then it hit me.
I forgot MY tickets.
Wasted about 2 hours of my life traveling back home to get it. zzz
I am supposed to be spring cleaning today but when i got home after church i just felt so sleepy (i think its due to the rain)
I finally thanked God for everything thats in my life.
